Challenge
Industrial heat makes up two-thirds of industrial energy demand and contributes to nearly 9 billion tons of CO2 emissions globally each year.
Currently a staggering 70% of industrial heat is generated by combustion of fossil fuels. To achieve carbon neutrality, it is necessary to urgently accelerate the penetration rate of renewable energies for clean heat generation in industrial applications.
